Let us solve your contamination problems
Air Sentry desiccant breathers provide dependable protection from moisture and particulate contamination in lubricants and equipment across multiple industries. Air Sentry®: “The first line of defense in contamination control”.
Contamination control
Airsentry breathers, your equipment will last longer
Air Sentry® sets the standard for contamination control. These breathers have state-of-the-art features that reduce particulate and moisture contamination, keeping your equipment and fluids lasting longer. The innovative breather line integrates check valve technology in a desiccant breather and offers replacement cartridges, to significantly reduce maintenance costs. The clear view 360 degree design makes it easy to inspect the saturation of the color-changing silica gel from a distance. The inert silica gel turns from gold to dark green to visually indicate the adsorption of moisture and confirm the breather is getting the job done.
Air Sentry products cover a wide range of application requirements. The line consists of Good, Better and Best options designed to meet your specific application and duration specification.
Applications
Air Sentry breathers are designed to replace the breather cap or air filter on gear boxes, hydraulic fluid reservoirs, bulk storage tanks, oil drums, oil-filled transformers and other fluid reservoirs.
D-Series
D-Series Breathers feature numerous models in a variety of sizes, all designed to satisfy the requirements of most stationary fluid management applications.
The breathers provide application flexibility by using 100% silica gel for moisture adsorption, 100% activated carbon for fume and odor control or both, when necessary. All D-Series models feature 2-micron solid particle filtration and are available with airflow ratings of 20 cfm.
The D-Series is constructed of industrial grade raw materials, tested to ensure a wide range of chemical compatibilities, and features high impact resistant ABS top and bottom caps. The clear acrylic tube makes it easy to inspect the condition of the color-changing silica gel from a distance. The silica gel turns from gold to dark green to visually indicate the adsorption of moisture and confirm the breather is getting the job done!

GUARDIAN
A new Line - a new standard
GUARDIAN is Air Sentry’s industry leading breather series. Some models feature an isolation check valve that keeps exhaust air from depleting the desiccant and protects from volatile fumes and splashing fluids. The GUARDIAN’s casing is constructed from Tritan®, a patented material highly resistant to impact and chemicals with a broad range of operating temperatures. These unique features equate to a longer life for your breather and your equipment.
GUARDIAN’s modular construction and optional add-on features allow you to customize each Guardian model to your specific application requirements. From the isolation check valve, to its stackable design, from its wash-down cap, or its compound indicating gauge, to the high-capacity HEPA filter, the GUARDIAN will last longer and reduce downtime giving you the flexibility you need to protect your industrial assets.
Ideal for Most Applications – The only desiccant breather series that Air Sentry recommends for diesel fuel applications* (not recommended for other fuel applications) *Guardian breathers used on diesel fuel applications must be accompanied with an isolation check valve. X-Series
High Humidity / High Dust ApplicationsTypical Applications
• Paper Mills
• Wash-Down Areas
• Steam Cleaning Rooms
• Mine Quarries
X-Series Breathers are the perfect solution for high humidity and high dust environments. To extend the desiccant’s life, the X-Series incorporates 2 check valves and a reusable top cap. The check valves provide a closed system until airflow is required, extending the service life of the desiccant. Specifically, the intake check valve allows airflow into the breather only when differential pressure between the atmosphere and fluid reservoir exceeds a 0.1 psi threshold, while the exhaust check valve permits air to exit the reservoir when the differential pressure exceeds a 2.0 psi threshold. A 0.1 psi check valve is also available for exhaust.
When the gold silica gel has turned dark green, remove the reusable top cap from the bottom desiccant cartridge, dispose of the spent dark green desiccant cartridge, then use the same top cap with a replacement cartridge.

XR-Series
XR-Series breathers were originally engineered for the wind power industry but are designed to perform in any extreme environment where protection from dust, moisture and vibration is critical. These breathers include a metal reinforced base, available with male NPT threads to adapt to your equipment. The base is designed to handle the rigors of high-vibration applications. The top cap uses two check valves to prevent outside moisture and solid contaminants from entering the breather until there is a need for airflow. The modular design allows for economical replacement of the desiccant cartridge.

L-Series
L-Series Breathers are available with 100% silica gel or activated carbon, or a combination of both, as necessary. These breathers include an in-line filter/dryers that remove water vapor and solid contaminants from air exhaust lines, low pressure compressed air lines, vacuum lines, and other in-line airflow applications where clean, dry air is required. Air enters the filter/dryer in one end and is clean and dry when leaving the other end. Water vapor and solid particles down to 2 micron are removed. L-Series is rated up to 60 psi and mounted on the regulated side of the air line.
Applications – Air Exhaust Lines • Vacuum Lines • Low Pressure Compressed Air Lines • Marine Vehicles

M-Series
M-Series Breathers are designed from heavy-duty materials capable of handling the requirements of the most severe environments. They replace the standard breather cap or vent tube on fuel tanks and fluid reservoirs. Pipe threads on the bottom standpipe make the units easy to install in moments. All M-Series designs have 2 micron pleated filters and silica gel bags that are easily replaced. They also feature the proprietary Splash Sentry™, which prevents foaming or splashing fluids from entering the breather during normal operating conditions.
Applications – Heavy Duty Off-Road Equipment • Heavy Mobile Equipment • High Temperatures • Corrosive Chemicals
Z-Series
Z-Series breathers are designed for applications where space is limited or air flow requirements are lower than 5 cfm. The Z-Series is typically used on gearboxes and low fluid volume applications where mounting space is limited or where a larger breather will not fit without remote mounting.
Limited Space Applications – Gearboxes • Drums • Totes • Small Oil Containers
